2022 MAA Outdoor - Results Posted in Documents

The 2022 MAA Outdoor Championship was held on a beautiful (but windy .. but this is outdoor archery!) August day with a great group of archers and spectators. There were five MAA state records set. In the youth division records were set by Josie Smutny (629 – Compound Basic Cub) and AJ Turnell (402 – Barebow Junior). In the adult division records were set by Bill Myers (637 – Compound Masters 70+), Tom Terriah (441 – Barebow Masters 70+), and Jackson Wagner (521 – Barebow Senior). The ShowMe Cup (Set Match Elimination Round) saw some very close matches – the following were the winners of each division.Cub Female Compound – Madeline Ruhr, Cadet Female Compound – Leann Drake, Bowman Male Compound – Max Seusy, Cub Male Compound – Carter Kindler, Cadet Male Compound – John Armentrout, Masters 50-70+ Male Compound – Bill Myers, Bowman Male Barebow – Alexandre Nixon, Junior Male Barebow – AJ Turnell, Bowman Male Recurve – Grant Kirk, Bowman Female Recurve – Molly Sheriff, Cub Female Recurve – Jordan Lemons, Cadet Female Recurve – Cortlin Hudson, Junior Female Recurve – Meaghan Frank, Junior Male Recurve – Mac Collins, Senior Female Recurve – Addy Koziol, Master Female Recurve – Janis Grellner, Senior Female Barebow – Samantha Gildenhuys, Senior Male Barebow – Tony Chen, Master Male Barebow – Tom Terriah, and Senior Male Recurve – Scott Bowman. MAA “Archers of the Year” awards for the Junior combined and Senior combined divisions is based on the combined placement at the MAA Indoor and Outdoor. 2022 Compound Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Sara Westcott, Jr Male – Brendan Fariborz, Sr Male – Wesley French, Sr Female – Chrissy Lowther, 2022 Wilson Boys Memorial Award for top Recurve Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Anna Howard, Jr Male – Mac Collins, Sr Female – Melinda Hawley, Sr Male – Scott Bowman. 2022 Barebow Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Breahna Catron, Jr Male – AJ Turnell, Sr Female – Samantha Gildenhuys, and Sr Male – Jackson Wagner.
